H5N1 bird flu virus is extremely deadly

The World Health Organization (WHO) warns researchers about the risks involved in bird flu virus research, especially the moncler jackets pathogenic strain called H5N1. The H5N1 strain has been identified as easily transmissable, posing potentially negative consequences to humans, such as lethal human pandemics.

Currently, there are centers that conduct H5N1 strain research, including The Netherlands and the United States. H5N1 bird flu virus is extremely deadly. People who have direct contact with infected birds are at high risk for transmission.

In 1997, the virus was first detected, when about 600 people had contracted the virus, resulting in over half of the victims dying. Since then, researchers have been working to identify which mutation(s) enable the H5N1 virus to easily spread from person to person and to maintain its pathogenicity.

Since then, in 2003, the bird flu virus infected 573 people and killed 336 people. And most recently, a 39-year-old man in Hong Kong was suspected of contracting the virus in December.Moncler jackets, cheap moncler vest, moncler boots 2011 outlet. Since then, other countries have announced bird flu alerts.

H5N1 virus is a serious issue and the results from its research poses potential threats to global health, especially if a specific mutation is identified to increase pathogenicity. Thus, the U.S. security advisers are concerned about publishing the details of the research being performed in these research centers because the information could potentially be used to create bioterror weapons for other countries or groups. As a result, the U.S. National Science Advisory Board for Biosecurity has urged research journals to redact versions of experiments, spurring mixed opinions.Cheap moncler scarves caps, 2011 moncler accessories for sale.

Typically, developed countries conduct the scientific research for complex flu viruses, including H5N1 virus, which more commonly affect developing countries.
